The Hermann Gmeiner Tibetan Homes School Ghorimafi is a branch school of Tibetan Homes Foundation, Mussoorie. This school is a middle school having classes from VI-VIII and is located at Village Ghori Mafi in the outskirt of Rishikesh, the spiritual destination of India. The campus is surrounded by lush green agricultural land and the gateway to the village is through the forest of Rajaji National Park. The entire 25 acre campus is divided in two by a road leading to the village and the holy river Ganga which is 600 meters from us. The construction work of this project was started in January 2009. The entire project has been completed and the school was started on September 16, 2011.
Twelve Residential Family Homes: Each family homes comprise of 3 spacious dormitories with attached bath toilet facility, prayer cum study room, dining room, kitchen, mother's room and a spacious veranda on the first floor. Each home can intake a total of 30 students.
School Block: The school building comprise of 24 room, including class rooms, Science, Maths, Computer and Language Labs, Science Center, Music, Games, Stationary, Audio Visual, Staff room, Office, Library with toilets on both the floors. The school is connected with internet and electricity round the clock. School Block also has a spacious football ground, Basket Ball court, and a Volley ball ground too.
Staff Quarters: 4 Blocks of staff quarters, each house has a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and toilet.
Dispensary: This block has a Doctor's consultation room, medicines store room, two patient ward with bath room and toilet.
