School library

 

Our school have a library facility of two-storey building which is enoughspace for quiet reading,relaxation and study. The library isequipped withCC cameras and fire extinguishers for safety. A diverse collection of books, journals, and digital resources like tablets withinternet access. Comfortable settings, adequate lightingwith proper ventilation inthe library. Systematic data-basedcheck in and out of books by the readers through usinga barcode reader in the computer system.

Our librarian teacher guides and supports studentsto facilitate the needs of the readers.We have bookshelves, display cases, floor mattress for reading and relaxation. Study tables with sofas and notice board to display book reviews and to display the list of newly arrived books. School library activities include – storytelling, booktalks, author’svisit, resource person talks, book exhibitions, pop up library activity, thematic display, library educational tour for students and then to visit various book stores in and around our vicinity.

Many more activities that we carried out, in every academic session. Book week celebration along with library event’s activities were carried out from April to August every year for developing reading habits and literacy skills among the students. Prepares students for lifelong learning and success. We are providing a well-equipped and welcoming library. Librarian can empower students to become curious, informed, and engaged learners, ready to succeed in an ever-changing world.
