At Tibetan Homes School, Dekyiling, we believe that art is not just a form of entertainment but an essential part of holistic education. Art is crucial in nurturing creativity, fostering self-expression, and enhancing problem-solving skills. To emphasize the value of art, our school has integrated it into the curriculum with dedicated art periods. Guided by skilled and passionate art teachers, students are encouraged to explore various forms of artistic expression, from painting and drawing to crafting.

 

We take great pride in organizing regular art competitions within the school to inspire healthy competition and artistic growth. Additionally, our students frequently participate in inter-school art programs organized by the Department of Education, Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), allowing them to showcase their talents on a larger platform.

A highlight of our art program is our collaboration with the Department of Sponsorship, where our students design Tibetan Losar and Christmas cards for sponsors. These opportunities not only allow them to refine their skills but also provide a platform to share their creativity with a wider audience, reflecting the unique blend of cultural and artistic education we offer at Tibetan Homes School, Dekyiling.
